Home For The Holidays

Soooooo, before I start I have to admit, typing this is grueling!!!!!

If you follow my Instawammies, you might have noticed that I got some colorful acrylic talons to sport during my vacation.

And now I am completely inoperable.  Yes, my hands are worthless and this post is already taking way too long to write - but oh, looking down at my keyboard...  My claws are so preeeeetty.

Okay!
So I am home for the holidays and that means:
Lots of sweets.
Lots of sleep.
Lots of pampering.
Aaaand lots of long talks with the coolest woman in the world, my mom.

And speaking of my mother, I also look forward to rummaging picking carefully through her treasure trove of jewelry, bags, and... makeup!!  Plus her bathroom is like the most beautiful room in the house (eeee!).

First of all, this tub?  I die.  Oh, and her entire collection of Bobbi Brown.  Fun!

I've been wearing primarily all what I have lovingly labeled, "Tiny Closet Collection" pieces kicking off my holiday vacation.  (pssst, stay tuned for more of this label!)  These plaid pants actually used to be a scarf!  I so loved it as a cute, wintry accessory but I like this particular print better as pants.  Especially since I don't really wear scarves anyway.  The best pieces for repurposing tend to be the items you don't need but can't seem to get rid of.  Don't ignore those little heartstrings - there's a reason why you can't seem to throw them out and this scarf was perfect as pants!

A thick, slouchy long sleeve top is the perfect topper for a day of errands or... playing with your mom's makeup :)  A wide scoop neck is always so casual but feminine.

I will be posting a couple more times before the new year but you can also stay updated on my lil adventures and musings by visiting me on my Instagram!

While I'm cozying up in the misty Northwest, I hope you're doing the same for the holidays.  I am cooking up some new ideas and looks for the new year but until then, I wish a very Merry Christmas to you, lovely, dear readers and your families.

It's always nice to be back home.

  3. Your britches used to be a scarf!? Was it an infinity scarf? I'm so curious. You GO with your cute creative self! Hey, I have a thing for clawfoot tubs. That mirror shot is FIYAH! Also, your moms floors are like clean enough to eat off of, right? Both of you ladies have squeaky clean exquisite taste in everything it seems. The color on your nails looks like YOU'RE SUCH A BUDAPEST by OPI. Happy Holidays to you and yours!
